This internet is an absolute travesty. It is vile. Never, no matter how cheap the deal is, never side with EE. I'm am now stuck with what is the most awful internet I've ever had. Internet from 10 years ago would trump this broadband. Never go with EE.

I started out with ee with standard broadband which was great. Then I decided to get fibre and it was the worst decision the speed on average was slower and it constantly was offline for one reason or another. Customer service shocking and I strongly recommend using someone else

Must be lucky I guess. We moved over to EE Fibre about 3 months ago and it has been faultless....download is regularly in excess of 35mb and (so far) has been fully reliable....must be us I assume

Possibly one of the worst product experiences I’ve ever had. Was told a minimum of 1mbps download, up to around 4mbps. Actual download was about 0.01mbps. (That’s slower than dial-up). Reliability is a joke. At peak times you should expect it to cut out about once every ten minutes.
I can’t rate this product badly enough. If you decide to use it after reading this review - more fool you.

I am a T-Mobile customer for 7 years.Following an advicer called me several time and I ignored their call
many time. Finally I thought why not try their broadband and phone services. The day she called me I picked the phone thats it.She did not gave me time to think about and ask a question. She was hurry and onceshe got the information she need, she always tried to end up my conversation.Instantly I understood something is not normal.Every thing went normal.I am informed my connection date.Fine.They told me patient for ten days to get normal Broadband speed.Waited hopefully. In between I found the speed dropped several times and continued until now.Contacted the EE.First advisor spoke to me politely.Very good and he was kind and helpful. After seval questions he said an engineer will visit.Never happend. Then next day EE contacted me how the issues fixed.I way for work.Cant say the progress. That day i got 12mbps.Finally again the speed dropped.Called EE.Spoke toa advisor. After sevsral conversation he asked me to see my router log.I Logged to my router.I am told to look broadband state.I said it says CONNECTED.I told him. Then he asked what is your problem.I have decided not extend my conversation.I understood according to if it says connected thats fine.Dont care about speed.what it is.My smart tv and mobile phone spinng and spiraling with 6.6 MBPS speed now.Frustrations.I leave the decisions to Customers to

I give EE no stars, our internet went live on Monday or did it? Numerous calls to customer service and technical in all parts of the country and India to be told so many stories, one being I was experiencing a sync issue and they could sort it, another being I needed an engineer as my internal line has a fault, another being it was because I was in the first 10 days of the contract, and the last being the router is faulty. So who is telling me the truth?? I cancelled as I have lost all faith in EE broadband as it seems like nobody knows what they are doing. Signed up with another supplier because EE haven't provided what they said they could.

Do not under any circumstances get broadband with EE.

It has been an absolute disaster from start to finish. They have left us without any service for two months. The order has been ''cancelled' twice without my knowledge.

Customer service is hit and miss. More often than not you will get someone who has no idea what is going on, the others will make you promises the company can not keep.

Avoid please, do yourself a favour and go with anyone else.

I recently went in to transfer my contract that had finished to a sim only card. What should have been a relatively simplet transaction left me without a phone for 4 days. I spoke with 10 different people to try and get the matter resolved and had to visit the shop 3 times. Stay away from this company they have no idea what they are doing, they have no customer service the overall dealings was a horrific mess.

I was overcharged on one of my bills and when I phoned up and it was explained to me it was actually a miss-communication between myself and the engineer. However, the lady at customer service was brilliant, she spoke to her manager, explained the situation and they gave me a full refund on understanding it was the engineer's fault not mine. The issue was resolved quickly and the lady on the phone was brilliant at explaining everything to me. Thank you!

I have been with EE for nearly two years now after switching from extortionate BT prices and incredibly poor download speeds.

I can honestly say it is the best decision I could have made. My download speeds are triple what they used to be and the price is very reasonable for the package that I have.

I have only ever had to deal with customer service once when my line went dead for a week and the customer service team were a little bit useless in providing information on the matter. But the issue was eventually resolved and credit was added to my account to make up for my lack of access.

That situation was over a year ago now and I have had absolutely no problems since and would highly recommend them to anyone in my area.

I totally disagree with all of these negative comments. Swapped to EE from Sky in October and like another feedback on here read the reviews after and wondered if I had done the right thing! The swap was faultless and broadband great for three months. I've just had a fault where it completely dropped out and thought now is the time to put their customer care to the test. They couldn't have dealt with it better. Kept in the loop via a dedicated person, engineer visit arranged, fault sorted, bill waived and data added to my mobile account to cover loss of broadband. Well done EE, keep up the good work!

I've been with my internet provider for a long time. Started out as Freeserve, then Wanadoo, then Orange. 18 years later I find myself with EE. OMG, what a shower! They turned off my land-line and broadband on New Year's Eve. Their mistake but despite repeated requests for an explanation, EE has yet to explain how it happened or apologize for causing major inconvenience. They promised to reconnect and restore within 72 hours and notify via text. However, after 72 hours, no text arrived and it was a pure accident that I discovered that we now had a new phone number! After repeated calls and six days, we finally got the broadband working. Irritatingly, it seems we may be on a new contract. A new router (yet to arrive at time of writing) must be used with new login / username and password. All very inconvenient and frustrating at a time of year when good communications are everything. After 18 years using the same email address, I am about to dump EE. New contract or not, it might be lawyer time - EE was in breach of contract by deleting my account. Words fail me!!

EE customer service is just awful. In 2014, without notice, they shut down my broadband and phone account. It was Christmas Eve, which was nice of them! They claimed I had submitted documentation for a move to another ISP - documentation which they could never produce. It took six weeks and goodness knows how many mobile phone calls to get reconnected and, this also initiated a new contract so stuck with them for a while longer. In 2017 they shut down my Freeserve email account of over 20 years. Still feeling the effects of that seven months later: it's like moving house and you need to notify everyone who has ever written to you of your new address!! Anyway, the contract is up and I'm changing to a new ISP. Farewell EE and good riddance!

All the reviews on this site complain about things EE have no control over, they started to give free home broadband to customers (when they were orange) consumer demand for a cheap mobile internet and home phone package have caused them to expand so anyone can have it. Connection fees are actually charged by BT EE cover most of the fee asking customers to cover 40%. Speeds are controlled by BT as they own lines. Lines randomly get deactivated by BT so they can charged "installation" fees or engineer call out fees. EE customer service is not amazing but I work on new join team we get over 2500 calls a day 80% of them are people complaining that they have slow speeds (BT cause this as then people leave and they can charge more "installation fees") BT is the cause of 90% of problems for providers they send engineers to cut lines and cause problems I know this because I was a open reach sub contractor before I worked for EE... If you want uk based call centers go for sky or EE if you want a good service and people who won't sabotage your lines to make more money stay away from BT network companies and go to Virgin. By far best provider around and I can't wait to leave EE not because of problems they cause but because of BT

Whatever you do don't move to EE. When you phone the 'biggest, fastest most reliable provider' you will wait 40 mins to get through to customer services. They capped my service so that I couldn't stream video content as well (the reason that I know this is that their support team in India told me on the phone!). All that I could see was the buffering symbol.
I phoned their customer service team and was put through to their UK customer service team and someone who knew nothing about 'customer service'. He was rude and abrupt. After the call he put a stop to my service even though I did not request this. It will take approx 4 days for them to get the service back up and running. I would not recommend EE to anyone. I was with Sky before and I wish I had stayed with them.

I'm writing this with my tail between my legs.
What a huge mistake I made. I left a perfectly good service with BT because of pricing and took up EE's offer.
It took 3 engineers to come out and when it was finally fixed my speed was nothing that was promised. I am now stuck for another 8 months in contract.
I will never EVER make this mistake again.
Word of advice, if it ain't broke, don't fix it!
I am now crawling back to BT.

I went with EE as they offered a good deal at £2.50 per month. Well you get what you pay for? I found poor customer/technical service. Spent many hours speaking to someone on a distant continent. Going through the same checks over and over again. Calls up to an hour at a time (including waiting). Low speeds down to 0.4 mb/s. Just can't wait until next week.....I am moving ISP!

This is Dire Broadband. Just absolutely totally DIRE BROADBAND!!! It is so slow that it is hard to log on and difficult to download even emails. All those things that I took for granted with my previous internet service providers are a distant dream to me now. Words fail me to describe just how dire this ee company is. No help when I complain either, just a pack of excuses. I was mis-sold this. Make sure you avoid ee.

I have been waiting since the day I recieved my router- for over a month- for EE to fix it as it's never worked. I've been passed around between Ahmed and Gourab and Raheem repeatedly. They tell me a higher tech team will be in contact, that never happens.
They diagnosed me with a line issue, now they tell me they need to diagnose it again, and for that I need to go out and pay for a landline phone to perform the tests myself again. They tell me that if they send an engineer who finds there's no line fault, they'll charge me £50-60 for the job. I told them I will eat them if they do this.
I've called them so many times now that I can tell you their entire 'on-hold' play list, which includes the likes of Katy Perry, Foo Fighters and Pixie Lott. I feel like Alex from a Clockwork Orange, with my eyes pinned back watching the horrors of terrible customer service and outsourcing.

I have the highest fibre optic speed and am very impressed with the service I have received from EE. My family all have virgin high speed broadband and it is no way as good as EE, I have recommended EE to all my friends and family.

15th Sept Engineer swapped line.£30 delivery of modem £6.
Paperwork your on everything by midnight.
17th I'm on ? Yet no speed .20th no Internet speed. 2hrs Customer services at work not easy.Your now back on "brill".
22.00hs still not on .After an hour finally tech support Dialled into my modem.
Guess what? You haven't got speed folks because your down/up speed is disabled. This gives you 7-11:mb surf speed. But so they can "Traffic manage you can stream download or upload.Perfect plan to keep your usage down to next to nothing.Got it turned on 12hrs later they disabled it.
23rd Cancelled.Cost £116 fee. £30 connection fee. £6 modem delivery. £152 for nothing. No voucher !!!! Priceless.Avoid at all costs trust me. I've seen it they turn your up/down access off .Flip of a switch to fix this but they don't want you to have it ,by the looks of it.Terrible service and it will be an expensive exercise .No stars because every aspect of my experience was a nightmare.

I cannot understand how this organisation has not been prosecuted and why it is still in business. This EE Broadband is just the worst that I have ever known. There is no way to watch any kind of video and the download speed is almost stationary. My best advice is KEEP AWAY FROM EE BROADBAND!!!

This is the worst broadband ever! I stupidly agreed to sign up when I went to get my orange mobile contract upgraded and the sales agent convinced me that if I took out home broadband I would be saving a lot of money. How wrong! The agent said the internet was exactly the same speed wise as talk talk but this was completely untrue. The internet is painfully slow all the time and watching even a short youtube clip is virtually impossible. To top it all off, it's costing costing over a fiver a month more than he said it would and they are refusing to pay the cancellation fee from our old providers which the agent clearly said they would pay! My mobile service is also shocking with the network down on a regular basis. Of course I have tried complaining but every time I call I get put on hold until I give up after about 20 minutes or I get through to someone half way across the world who really doesn't understand what I'm saying. Be warned - STAY AWAY FROM EE!
