Had my broadband set up for a few days now and all seems brilliant. Plenty to watch with the extra passes (entertainment & sky cinema), easy to use interface on the tv box itself, and the fab fibre speed seems perfect for online gaming and general usage of phones/tablets etc. My only gripe in the process being that the engineer was due to come out between 1 & 6, come quarter to six there was still no sign of him, so i went on the live chat and their customer services department advised that an engineer wasn't needed as my phone line was still live and that i could set-up the router and tv box by myself, so i waited in all day quietly for nothing, a heads up via phone call/email would have been nice!! aside from that, i cant complain about the service so far!!

I have had absolutely no problems with Now broadband, There customer service staff are mostly based in Ireland are always very friendly and helpful. Speed is great no issues or any dropouts. Been with them years at the end of year year prices goes up they send the reminder out and always offer me a new contract at the same price or lower. Highly recommend you try them as they offer a 30 day cooling off period where you can change you mind which i really liked when first signing up.

I've been with several providers over the years, ntl, then virgin, BT, etc. I've been with nowtv broadband for a year. I don't understand other people's issues, I had no problem contacting customer services in the first week, and an engineer was sent out in 3 days, who found my issue was wiring in my house, and fixed it free. The price is excellent, I've no issue connecting 8 devices to WiFi all over the house, and speed is as promised. Yes, twice over a year the signal dropped out, but both times it restarted within a few hours, and this happens with all providers from time to time. I'm most happy.

Was with Now on ADSL from May 2021. Phoned up in January when I saw a deal offered for Super Fibre at £2 extra and upgraded with no real problem. Customer services were helpful.
Speed on both ADSL and fibre as expected.
One 8 hour outage in 9 months.
    Overall happy with service.

I was a bit concerned have read some of the reviews but my experience has been fine. Cutover went well with the Now router service up straight after the old service died at 1200 on cutover date. No experience of he billing cycle as yet

Used this website when looking for a new supplier and the reviews almost stopped me from going with NowTV - would really urge everyone to take these with a massive pinch of salt as people typically only leave reviews when they are upset! My experience so far (around 3 months) has been absolutely fine - customer service has been quick and helpful, the speed could be better but is absolutely sufficient for daily use even with loading videos/ movies/ streams!

Swapped from Plusnet 6 months ago, easy to set up and speeds have improved.
Better 5Ghz signal than previous one.
    Router seems reliable.
Very pleased with package deal, £25 fibre + all calls.
Website clearly laid out & simple to navigate. Router page allows easy configuration which suits me. Some suppliers routers restrict settings.
    Highly recommended.

Overall satisfaction is down one star due to my telephone number not being ported,i am not that worried as i only have calls telling me "i was involved in a accident".Been three weeks with Now and to be fair everything they said has been done, apart from the number porting.Good consistent speeds and no drop outs, router sent out when they said, engineer arrived when they said and 2.5 meg off my max speed so very happy with the service so far,i hope this continues.

Had the internet just over a year, was on BT the past 10 or so years. BT internet would usually disconnect around 12-2AM at night likely to perform maintenance, this never happens with NOWTV which is always good when your in a competitive gaming match and dont get disconnected.

The speed is reliable and decent for what I pay, 25 squid for 36Mb, good for downloading steam games etc. Overall no complaints.

I've had them for two and a half years and it's been the most reliable broadband service I've used. I've had to restart the router six times or so in this period and that's pretty much it. Not straight-forward to find the contact phone number but this is similar with everyone these days.
I'm sorry that they don't offer service where I'm moving.

I am very pleased with the standard of service that's been provided. The line has by and large been very reliable and stable, and in the entire first year there has been only one episode of outage which lasted overnight. I can't fault the service provided by the call centres either, they factored in my request as an existing customer for better terms in my new contract.
I would highly recommend this provider.

Haven't dealt with customer services which seems to be the main issue on here. Had Now broadband for 2 years, no real problems, few dropouts here and there but no where near as many as sky, I know they're the same but for some reason, maybe the router, sky was just worse. Granted the router isn't great & I do have a WiFi extender to supply WiFi to the other side of the house, I live in a standard semi detached house so you get the picture about the router, but other than that no real issues, connection has been steady for 99% of the time for me, maybe the area & distance to the exchange has a bearing on people's speeds, I get around 65mbps on average at all times so can't complain, I would recommend Now broadband but I am looking to move as they have put their prices up, but that's the only reason, not the actual service received.

No idea how this lot make any money. They've installed two lines for us at separate properties, including a brand new copper pair at the second, entirely free of charge. Broadband is reasonably fast and cheap, and on the new copper pair download speed, latency and packet loss are all good. Customer support is UK-based and pretty helpful.

Paying £20 a month for 70Mbps download and 19Mbps upload.

Whenever I have needed to contact support it takes about 30 seconds to get through.

We went through a house move, unfortunately this took 3 weeks longer than we were told it would, this is our only gripe with Now Broadband.

The broadband is reliable, we had an issue where it kept dropping on and off for five days, finally gave Now a call, they sent an engineer out within a few days and problem was fixed with the line.

Customer service all have English accents so it is easy to understand them.

Now hub 2 leaves a lot to be desired, no modem mode and no option to change the DNS provider. I've put my own router in the DMZ and using that to do the routing. 5G will provide a 400Mbps link to my devices, this drops off pretty quickly between rooms, using Unify AP-AC-LR to blanket the house in WIFI and have no issues.

All in all, I believe that I am getting a cracking service for £20 a month.

I recently signed up to transfer my broadband and phone package to Now as my package with another company was near the end of the contract. I had a couple of concerns that I needed answering. I telephoned Customer Service a spoke to a lady called Veronica. She was courteous and listened to my concerns and because all the details were not displayed on my account she arranged to phone me the following day. Further investigations were needed and a she was on days off and an intervening weekend she phoned me on her return, as arranged and my issues were cleared up.
Veronica provjded outstanding customer service and is caring and cheery in personality.
She is a credit to the Company.
Hopefully once my service begins it matches up to the consideration I have received to date.

Ignore the bad reviews if you're getting broadband only. I can't comment on the TV packages as didn't sign up for them. Easiest and fastest broadband installation I've ever had! Had an Openreach engineer come within 2 weeks which is a record (try 4-6 normally). I've moved around a lot and I know this process...and the pain that it normally incurs so was very surprised by how easy a company this cheap made it. I'm getting 7.5Mbps down the line which is plenty for me, can watch Netflix HD and browse super fast no issues which is the majority of what I use it for. I couldn't get fibre on the BT lines here so it was this or Virgin basically, which costs a lot more.
The way I see it is if you're getting ADSL rather than cable, it all comes through the same BT lines anyway so the only real variables are traffic management (ie. throtttling) and customer service. NOW doesn't throttle (thumbs up) and customer service have been quick to get through to, speak proper English (well for Irish people anyway :-)) and quite efficient. Why pay more? For a more 'reputable' company? Its just marketing trust me - they're all jokers at the end of the day ;-)

Overall i'm very very happy with NOWTV Broadband, not a single issue as far as speed is concerned. Great customer service, although I had to knock them down one star as their technical knowledge is lacking and it took two tries for them to understand my enquiry. (explained below)
The second issue is the Router for WIFI range is not strong. I have most of my house CAT 5 cabled up, however mobile phones cannot be cabled and as such I was receiving only between 1/4 to 1/2 signal quality on wifi when upstairs-with it actually dropping out on occasion.

Overall I've found my Now Broadband has been fairly reliable and fast. I have been with Now for 3 years and they continue to provide some of the most competitively priced broadband on the market, which for the price performs very reasonably! I only once have had issues with my broadband, which was sorted quickly by their customer service team who seemed to genuinely want to help me.

My wifi didn't go on fir the first day when it was supposed to go on so i called the customer service and they quickly pass me on to relevant team and send an engineer in a day. The engineer work very hard for hours to fix the problem and in the end he manages to produce a very satisfying result.

I have real problems with getting any kind of advertised speed for my Broadband; but now I now have 30+GHz after changing some router options.

The promised speed is 36Mbps and I was getting around 1.9Mbps to my laptop. I spoke to NowTV support and they got a BT engineer out to check the speed for me within 4 days (I called on Friday, he was here Monday). The BT guys check the speed going to the router, and it was 36Mbps as advertised, but the speed quickly dropped off the further I was away from the router... literally in the spare bedroom, around 15 meters, the speed went down to 1.9Mbps. So.... I tried moving the router, that didnn't help much; I tried moving my Laptop, I got around 5-6Mbps now that they are around 5 meters closer. This is obviously really bad for working from home, so I started to investigate the WIFI settings on the router (don't do this if you don't know what your doing...); and I now have 34-35 Mbps after disabling the 2.4GHz connection and only using the 5Ghz connection.

So my conclusion is that the Routers the NowTV use are a bit s**t as they don't handshake to the higher GHz by default; but to the 2.4GHz.

FYI I changed the following options on the router... I take no responsibility if your break anything. Do at your own risk....

In a browser, goto the http://192.168.0.1
    The username defaults to admin
    The password defaults to nowtv
    Goto the Wireless
    Goto 2.4 GHz wireless settings
    Unchecked...
    Enable Wireless Access Point
    Enable WPS
    Allow Broadcast of Name (SSID)
    Synchronise 2.4GHz and 5GHz Settings

MAKE SURE YOU UNCHECK Synchronise 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz Settings. If you don't you might end up not being able to connect to your router.

Hit the Apply button. The router will restart the connection, and you can now do a speed test. You may have to check that any old devices can still connect; as not everything will be able to connect using 5Ghz.

so far so good (three weeks), switched from origin (different review), during sign up estimated speed was 4-8Mb/s (due to line), after 10 days (settling) period speed was just below 4Mb/s and going off once a day.
I spoke with customer services and after a few line checks an appointment was made for an engineer.
BT engineer visit next day - changed master socket, checked wiring, got the line reset - instant 7.5Mb/s and has been stable since. Pleased so far.

Changed from BT to NOW tv for fibre broadband & phone only. Less than half the price I was paying to BT and that wasn't even fibre. I am getting faster broadband at a cheaper price and phone calls included. OK there has been the odd break in broadband but only for a few minutes hence 4 stars. I'm happy.

Very happy with customer service and ease of speaking to someone. Had an email about contract coming up for renewal and a new offer (same price as before). Had to go through a few 'press this number' things when I called but then got to speak to someone right away with no delays. As it was too early in the morning for the team who do new contracts they organised a call back 20 minutes later and switched me onto a new contract in minutes. Efficient and helpful.

I've read the negative reviews here, maybe I've been lucky but to be honest I can't find that much wrong with it. Customer service is a bit slow and the wifi signal is a bit weak but it's only gone off once briefly in the 6 months I've been with them and the 67mps is a constant so for £22 plus unlimited phone it's a bloody good deal

Been with them for 2 years now and just renewed. Never really had any great problems. Overall great value for super fibre. I’ve noticed some buffering late at night but not an issue as no one is particularly maxing out Wi-Fi in our household then.

Ordered NOW Broadband to replace unreliable Virgin Media for work, and at £20 a month, no contract, and included calls, it was good value.

Everything was activated the evening before, not a single hitch, not a single issue, and reliable 75 Mbps download, what's not to like? Better if customer service was available online not just by phone, and a hub with better range would be good, but at this price it's cool.

Broadband is reliable and hasn't yet let me down. Speed is OK and get what you pay for. Only problem is the range and I have had to fit a range extender to get to rooms outside the room the Broadband hub is situated.

So far so good with NOW . I got myself mixed up when I left Vodafone and changed to NOW due to the Vodafone high prices and they wouldnt reduce them despite loyalty over several years. However put myself through purgatory trying to get my mobile changed to Tesco as NOW dont do mobiles. still not really sure what I an paying or what is included but the staff in Derry NI seem very pleasant .
So time will tell when I find out more ! I am 80 and drilled to not expect too much from the newish technology all around us. It was better and simpler 10 or more years ago.

Just switched today from sky. Link speed on hub diagnostic page shows 64000kbps but only 34Mbps on Speedtest? Guaranteed speed 40mbps. However, first experience of calling Now customer services was great, shortest wait time for many other utility companies that I have had GREAT misfortune to deal with (especially the cable company) , and although they didn’t resolve speed immediately they explained the usual 7-14 day DLM process, so I have to wait 2 weeks, which is fair enough. Line reliability seems good, I have been messing around with the wiring to remove extension wiring etc and after switching off hub a number of times it came back very quickly. Very stable D/L and U//L speeds (just not as fast as promised on D/L)

Hi, I had nowtv broadband 8 days ago. There are at least 50 times (sometimes each 10 mins) dropping out seen per a day so far, also the speed sometimes is not stable. It made me crazy. I texted costumer service. They helps me, and told me that the first ten days is normal. I have never seen any broadband that give fluctual signals to ther costumer. It is the worst broadband that I have ever seen in the UK. I do not recommend anyone to use it. If I had not to use it, I would not select it. My zone is not available for many firms and there is so few contract for 12 months. So, there is no any good things but costumer service. It is totally disappointment for me. If it still continues within 1 week, and they do not solve it, I will cancel it. It affected my work, study and communucations.

NOW TV are the best ISP I have been with in the UK ever, period. I've tried several ISPs over many years, all with ADSL, some were better than others with Plusnet being the worst after they were bought by BT and the customer service plummeted.

My lower ratings for Now TV reliability and speed have nothing to do with Now TV. Speed and reliability are the responsibility of BT OpenReach who own and operate all ADSL lines in the UK.

As no ISPs own any ADSL lines the only thing you are buying is customer service and NOW TV are the best I've experienced. If you can get cable in your area and bypass OpenReach all together that will give you the highest reliability of all.

Have had Now Broadband on and off for a few years. The transition to them has always been straightforward and their Fibre broadband has worked well for streaming/gaming. Never had any need to contact customer services.

I have been so satisfied with the customer service from NowTV. Any time I have had to change anything or needed to cancel, it has been quick, easy and pleasant. The Wi-Fi itself has been quite unreliable but have had no trouble with speed or anything like that.

The 12 month package with Super Fibre was very good for students, the cheapest option we could find and generally worked.

Premise: I like to be left alone. I hate getting promo emails and being bugged about what 'more' I could get from the service. NowTV leaves you alone - some love this, some hate this.
The one downside is that sometimes they leave you alone a bit too much, like not warning you when the costs are going up because the 12 months of contract are over. But everything else that they could tell you about is just really easy to find on their website, so I actually prefer it.

The offers are very good, especially for someone on a budget, like me.

The broadband was just fine, speed was great, worked great even with several devices connected to the WiFi.
It did occasionally give some problems when it would temporarily stop working (for 10 to 30 minutes) and all you could do was wait - but I'm pretty sure it has more to do with the location of my flat 'cause I had this same exact problem with the previous provider.

Customer service is fine. Actually the best cancelling experience I've ever had. I've recently had to cancel after over a year with them because I'm moving country, and it was all done in 3 minutes. I've always been kept on the phone for half an hour trying to cancel services, instead the operator didn't insist, was very nice throughout, never pushed, and was super helpful in cancelling the plan just before the next payment. Awesome experience right there.

I have been a customer of Now Broadband for a couple of years now. Besides there being a couple of local faults, I have not had any problems with service. Although having said that the signal can be rather slow at peak times.

After my initial contract was up I renewed but phoned and got a far better deal than I was quoted online. I pay £17.99 a month for standard broadband. Should have been £25.

My only criticism is of the modem it's self, it only has two Ethernet ports.
