Appallingly bad customer service. Can't get any action. Broadband has been intermittent or non-existent for 6 weeks plus. They just don't care. Been with Sky TV for over 17 years and they treat you like sh**.

I had no problems with sky for more than 3 years but noww, tragic!!! Increasing price from the air, sending one email and applying absolutely different amount. Internet dropping all the time, especially at night, last 2 months Internet connection is just disgusting! Can't play a video, nothing, what to talk about any gaming! Really my partner is so angry as well. Last 2 months it's absolutely horrendous. Now I'm trying to contact sky for 25mins,no answer. Still 1 week with them

Extremely disappointed with sky. I cancelled my contract at end of December with it finishing end of Jan. Sky proceeded to take payments out of my account for Feb and march. When I rang they said they acknowledged there error and would refund within 72hours, a week went by and no refund. Contacted again and said it won't be till April that I get the refund and I was misinformed.

That same week whilst waiting for my refund I was contacted to say I needed to return the kit and if not done by 30th march I would be charged. Whilst chasing the refund I asked about the return of the equipment and that I had no packaging. They stated this would be with me on the 21st and I explained that I will be away and unable to return by the 30th and that If the packaging had been sent within a timely manner and not less than 9 days before being charged I would of returned it by now. They said if it's not returned then I will be charged on 1st April, I repeatedly explained this is not possible to which they said purchase your own packaging at my own expense. With sky already having my money and me needing to put food on the table this is not acceptable. I would not recommend sky to anyone. I would also recommend when leaving cancel your direct debit as there system doesn't not work correctly (as stated by sky agent).

I wish I never went with sky! Complete scammers! My bill started at £46.99, now they have put it up to £91.00!!!??? Absolutely disgusting!! But hey if I was a ‘new customer’ I would be paying what I was originally, they pull you in with a deal and then you’re stuck and they hike up prices. How they are still running I do not know. Customer service completely useless as well. Appalling.

Have nothing to do with these shysters. I left Sky because of escalating costs every month. I called to cancel but a couple of months later I find I'm still being billed for services not used and after all of the equipment was returned. Absolutely disgusted. Will not return to Sky!!!!!

    Broadband is terrible
Continually drops out. Had to buy a booster to get a decent signal in the room next to where the router is situated
Supposed to get 60+ mb, but never get anywhere near that
Fortunately they have just announced another price increase, which has enabled me to cancel without any exit fees

My area only caters for ADSL. I have been a Sky customer for 1.5years - the ADSL internet is not only expensive (same price as fibre), but also fails in the expected speed and reliability (cannot even host online work calls). Would strongly advise against obtaining this service.

Customer service are OK - however there is not much help or advice they can offer as there does not seem to be any solution, aside from moving the modem away from walls.

I have been wit SKY a few years now, and decided to move from SKY Fibre connection to full FTTP. SKY promised a full 25Mb connection I was lucky if I got 7Mb. I have now obtained FTTP and checked out over the last couple of months the connection speed promised to be ~500Mb, I now get 22Mb- WHAT a load of Sh**.
In addition I have requested a PAC code last November and SKY have not eyt managed to supply one????
Toadt I requested a PAC Code for my second SIM - and guess what - technical issues not able to provide one.
IS THIS A COMPANY SO SH** THAT ITS GOING OUT OF BUSINESS AND PROVIDING EVRY OBSTACLE TO RETAIN CUSTOMERS?

SO Advice- DO NOT GO WITH SKY THEY ARE ABOSOLUTELY AN BUCH OF COWBOYS- NO HOPE- NO CUSTOMER SRVICES AND CERTAINLY NO MOBILE TECHNICAL SERVCIES.
    BE AWARE - GO ELSEWHERE.

Took advantage of elderly customer increasing costs significantly without notification. Provided obviously inadequate service for the price and were extremely rude and unhelpful on the phone until we got through to cancellations where there a kind and understanding employee helped us cancel our subscription. Would not use this company again.

Had a man come out to “test” our speed to say it was alright then adds I need a power line adapter for my bedroom as the connections too weak. Even with the power line adapter it goes 900kb- 2gb/ps for updates. Don’t recommend at all, especially if you’re gamer

The internet has been down since 19th feb and it’s now the 21st with no update from sky about anything. Quite disgusting as we are their “customers”

These people have just charged me £170 for changing broadband provider. I am a pensioner and this equates to a full weeks pension. I cannot wait till I am out of contract with my TV so I can leave this company for good.

I have been with Sky TV for over 20 years. About 5 years ago I moved address. When I spoke with Sky I was told that it was better that my subscription was cancelled and then I would get Sky Q and it was better.
So the agent on the phone (knowing better than me) arranged for everything to be done.
At no point did the agent tell me that it would cancel my years tenure would be reset and I would loose out.
When it was noticed in 2018 it was changed to what it should be. When my contract was redone in 2021 it was again rest back to the lower level. Again I argued why it was wrong and Sky once again changed it to what it should be.
Now in 2022 I have taken out a mobile contract and funnily enough they have swapped my tenure back to the lower level and say that when you 'move' or cancel ( which I did not) your tenure is reset.
I have argued that their information is wrong and asked why has this been done twice before and why do the refuse that there is information on their system. I was told that it doesn't matter level you are as everyone is on VIP now. Yet even their adverts say the longer you have been with them the better the offers you get given. Who is lying to me again!!

Supposed to have 500Mbps. Rarely see 40, occasionally get 170, often upload speed is higher than download speed. Total rubbish. And all they tell me is that it’s 500Mbps as far as they are concerned and can’t do anything about it.

An absolute joke of a supplier. They booked an Open Reach engineer to activate my broadband for a specific date between 1-6, two weeks after I had joined Sky. I called them at 3pm on the day of installation, was told it was still going ahead - the engineer was just running late. No sign of the engineer at 6pm so I called back..only to be told that there was a technical error on Open Reach's side and the order was never processed in the first place. Sky apologised, said that they had now assigned someone to personally see the installation on their end and booked an appointment for the following Tuesday - which in their words was "100% going ahead". Router arrived through the post, I'd heard nothing so I assumed it was good to go. Day of the appointment comes, I drove back up the country specifically to be available for the 1-6 time slot - I call Sky...and they inform me that the installation had been cancelled 30 minutes after it had been confirmed a week prior. Why did no-one think to contact me to inform me of this? Where was the agent apparently overseeing my case?

Then to make matters even more hilarious they inform me that they can put the order through again, but it'll take two weeks to get an engineer out - but again they'll 100% ensure that this appointment goes ahead, they'll assign someone to the case, they'll keep me in the loop.

Seriously, what is the point of Sky in this process? I understand Open Reach are a nightmare, but Sky's communication has been horrendous.

I spoke to several agents on the phone, none of whom were helpful at all. They didn't keep me up to date, they were absolutely clueless as to how to rectify this issue, and one even tried to blame me for their incompetence - saying that because Sky had proven to be useless, why hadn't I called them days in advance to confirm that they would bother showing up?! He then informed me that the agent handling the case had sent me an email, and had sent them a screenshot of the email in his Outbox folder - when I informed him that your Outbox folder is for pending messages, not sent ones all he had to say was "Oh, sorry about that".

Anyway, opted for a EE 5GEE router and it's up and running within 24 hours of ordering.

Shan't be using Sky again. My family are longterm Sky Broadband/TV users and I'll be advising them to sack off these cowboys as well.

You physically cannot purchase worse broadband than Sky. The customer service is non existent. They wash their hands with you once you are signed up and this is made so much worse by the fact the broadband is not fit for purpose and there is nothing you can do about it. I have been signed into a contract for over two years and if they said to me at the end of it 'you can have free broadband for life' i would point blank refuse. I have a stressful job and have been working at home throughout Covid and this horrific service has made it a million times worse, not only has it added to my mental stress but it has cost me and my company finically. Ive lost count the amount of times it has dropped out or no signal is recieved. I have even been sat 1 metre from the router and I have tried hard wiring using an ethernet cable and it just doesnt work. Me and my partner have rang up countless times asking for an engineer and they fob us off saying we dont have Wi-fi guarenteed so there is nothing they can do. Well our Sky/ internet package is £106/ month.... tell me how that doesnt get us any sort of support from this fraud of a company. I advise every single person i know to avoid this company. They take our money month on month and no matter how many times you ring up and complain they will do absolutley nothing to sort it out and they will continue to blame everyone else. Just to re-iterate how bad it really is... the broadband drops out approx every 30 seconds, to the point where any device you are using doesnt recieve a signal and is un-useable. The only thing un-useable is Sky fake broadband! Furious with company and will ensure every person i know stays well clear!

HORRIBLE SERVICE - STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!! Had my broadband for over 18 months. They will increase the price even though the price should be fixed, you have a VIP access which you can't use via the app nor online and finally when you leave them they take the final bill with Direct Debit and WON'T REDUND YOU FOR THE LAST MONTH OF THE CANCELLED CONTRACT!!! Customer service is POOR! they promise to call you back and never do. STAY AWAY FROM THOSE THIEVES IF YOU WANT A PIECE OF MIND!

I have regretted signing up with SKY since almost day 1. I have had continuous problems with broadband with line dropping off and slow speed. And yet Sky keep on saying that they can see from their systems. Recently I had problems for a whole week with the internet going on/off in 5 min intervals.
It suddenly seems to be fine now but I received no follow up call from Sky. I have no idea what they have done anything to fix it because they are not even admitting it was a problem from their side.

As for compensation, they have offered £5!

Never ever will I go with Sky again.

Subscribed to broadband on 16th December. Router still not arrived end of 21st January.
There is a "glitch" so they can't track the package. When they call, they ring once and hang up saying they tried to call. No words.

Worst internet I've ever had and I've had a few internet service providers since the 90s. WiFi barely reaches upstairs (new build so the walls are paper thin), low speed, constantly craps out. Paying £35fl for absolutely nothing. Bottom line? Avoid sky at all costs

What a shambles of a company. Useless in every sense of the word. Trying 6 weeks to get a PAC code. Tried and tried told they are working on it, and its with the back room. How many people work in this room?
I have a SKY Package and moved from Fibre at 1.87mB to full fibre supposedly 500mB BUT ONLY GET 51M.
WANT TO GET RIPPED OF BY A USLESS TRULY UNWORTHY COMPANY.

I left a review some months ago to warn people to stay away from this atrocious, abyssmal provider. I return to inform you all that it has gotten so much worse over these months, that I wish I could leave negative stars or something of that nature. I have been experiencing on the daily: constant drops, constant lag, constant slow speeds that it is affecting me in more ways than I would have ever thought. Please, stay away, do not ever use. Any positive reviews are probably Sky employees trying to big their horrendous wi-fi. AVOID!

We were with sky for a year and it was all good. However, when we moved house and chose to stay with sky all the problems began.

We had an openreach engineer come around to fix the line. Halfway through the appointment he went out to work at the street cabinet, then came back and said he would continue the work later. We never heard from him for the rest of the day. I called sky and they were not able to help or even contact open reach to check what the issue was. All they offered was to rebook the appointment 3 weeks later. This was frustrating as we were working from home and really needed wifi. But we were patient.

3 weeks later, I get a text from openreach at 9:00 confirming the engineer has been assigned and is on his way. 10 mins later another text from Sky to say the appointment was missed. Jokes! Called sky and they were unable to contact openreach again. The notes said "client was not at the property." That was a lie, we were home amd waiting. We even received a courier package around 8:45. My timeslot was between 8:00 to 13:00 and yet Sky were unable to rebook on the same day. I was made to wait another 2 weeks through no fault of mine. I had to make other arrangements to make sure I was able to work.

I understand that this was mainly Openreach's fault but the fact that Sky could do nothing to help is really frustrating. Not staying with them after my contract ends.

First the bad: The router isnt great. but you can invest in a better router or in WAPs to fix that.

The pricing. Its not cheap and if you invest in sky cinema there are still a bunch of films on sky store that you have to pay more for.

The good: Customer service has always been fine. Never unhelpful... but not ground breaking either. I've always been able to get help where I've needed it.

The BB is decent though. My work computer is hard wired into the router and I never have any issues at all, I stream movies in HD on the tv (2 tvs at the same time).
