Had a fault and they were so opaque and reactive in their communication. Indicated I would get compensation 30 days after the problem was fixed but was then told I wasn't eligible. Awful company!

Probably the worst customer experience with TalkTalk - I was on their chat for almost 8 hrs - I was on a call for almost 2 hrs
They just pass me around and not helping - they left us without broadband
0/10 service - I'm still trying to cancel but they have to call you back - you can't call them - this is a scam people, stay away from TalkTalk

Worst company I’ve ever come across. When things work everything is fine but beware if something goes wrong.
On Monday a team from city fibre turned up to fish a cable from outside my house to the road. I was told this wouldn’t affect my internet or phone. How wrong I was, as I have had no phone or internet connection since. An engineer was supposed to be installing my fibre broadband on the following day so I took a day off work. The appointment was 1-6pm. I waited in all day and nobody came. I called talk talk and they said the engineer had been and couldn’t do it for reasons unknown. I have a ring doorbell so I know that was a lie. They have now told me to reschedule an appointment. The next appointment is a month away so I am without internet and phone for a month. I’m going to sign up to a different company. I have been on the live chat for over 4 hours and 2 phone calls for 3 hours and they still haven’t done anything to help get me connected when it was their incompetence in the first place. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Have had three connections issues in the last month. Lost 4 days of work. Talk talk have ran 7 tests before they were willing to send an engineer and now still no connection. Been on their chat for hours and them asking the same questions over and over again. I am so fed up and they are unhelpful and will not help. Still no connection and still no engineer. Issue been going on repeatable for months. This is the worst one as no connection for 4 days. Although apparently someone will ring me on the 6th October. Terrible am so upset, need to work and can’t.

Save yourself the stress and get your internet elsewhere.
Upon moving house it took ONE MONTH to get any internet connection and that is only due to a very switched-on, helpful Openreach Engineer!
I had a whole month of constantly having to chase TalkTalk for updates and support. I had to take 2 full days off work as they could not offer me an engineer appointment outside of most peoples normal working hours. The first scheduled appointment, the engineer didn't even turn up and the second appointment, I had the engineers here for 10 minutes, whereby the told me the problem was external and they could do no more, I then had to chase for nearly 2 weeks for TalkTalk to book an Openreach engineer who came out and was shocked at how I have been treated as a customer, who said they weren't at all busy and that I should have been provided with a far earlier appointment.
I have had to travel into work unnecessarily for one month because I have been unable to work from home due to TalkTalks uselessness as well as had to continue to pay for a service I haven't received.
I have had numerous calls booked in with a manager to handle my complaint and I have received no calls, only texts pushing said call back and back.
Save yourself the stress and do not use! Find someone else reliable and competent. As soon as my contract ends I will be closing my account. And in the mean time I will be putting in a lengthy complaint to Ofcom.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. Since the 30th October (28 days ago as I'm writing this) we have made 13 points of contact with Talk Talk. After being past from person to person to person, and almost 8 hours in total of conversations, our solution has still not been resolved despite all of our problems starting due to an address change that was not requested. Terrible service all round. I do not recommend using this broadband service.
