Terrible can’t wait to get away, went fir fibre as needed faster speed, that’s a joke think I’m as slow as I was with the old dialup system, funny when you use the app shows up higher speed, but terrible speed.
When you call customer service same old story try this try that still the same sick to the back teeth with them.
    They will be gone soon!!

I was very disappointed with the speed of Vodafone fibre broadband. I phoned the call centre and was told that the advertised speeds refer to the speed that would be obtained if a device was connected by an ethernet cable to the modem. In this modern age of 'wifi' I assumed that when I took out a high speed internet package, it would provide high speed on wifi - sadly not. The speed was sufficient to use spotify and netflix sometimes but sometimes had issues when using at peak times. Anyway, they were unwilling to do anything to help despite the fact that I also have 3 mobile phone contracts with them and have done so for many years. So I've cancelled the contract and moved to a competitor where the speeds are much faster.

Where do I begin! It is hands down the worst broadband i have been with. I have wasted hours speaking to them on the phone with no success. They shirk responsibility and drag out the whole process. My problem was slow speed and constant dropping of connection. What a joke of a service. I strongly advise you think twice before going with Vodafone.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I signed up with Vodafone Fibre Broadband believing they have the same standard as their mobile phone network, oh how WRONG I was!!!!! Internet keeps cutting off, not at all reliable when you are using Skype for Business for example.
I was tempted with one of their offers, but I am counting the days until my 18mo contract finishes with them. I will definitely pay slightly higher price for a reliable network. It's such a shame that a great mobile network provider allows this to tarnish their reputation.

I switch on fibre 76 Vodafone and I pay 60£ for new line. 1st day I was getting speed 60mbps and upload 17mbps. Next day start WiFi speed dropping to 10mbps and upload 15mbps. I contact support and they say my speed 1st 10days will be poor. After that router start saying it’s disable and I can’t do anything to set up my router WiFi setting because disabled. I connect to support about this issue and they couldn’t fix my this issue. They say try sometime and maybe will work. I will see 10 days more if speed improved.
I had TalkTalk fibre 35 and that was very good and wasn’t droping speed as Vodafone broadband.
Look to me bodafone bad but let see how it gonna be.

Excellent customer service and good value for money broadband. Easy to set up and handy broadband app to make monitoring speed etc easy. Really happy to have swapped from BT, who were expensive and the customer service was really bad.

I was called by Vodafone and they convinced me to move two mobiles, broadband and IPad services to them. WORST MISTAKE EVER!! I have spent the last year taking them to the Ombudsman for every account that they have no interest in resolving unless they are instructed to! There customer service team are unfriendly, unhelpful and rude! Don't move your account to them unless you have the time to constantly call and have the extra time to use the Ombudsman. Even now they have admitted fault and provided refunds etc I am STILL the owner of a brand new 7 plus that does not work... called again today and they refused to believe I got the phone from them! I had the Ombudsman prove they provided it.. its a joke... Cannot wait until I can get out of the contracts and go back to my previous provider who NEVER caused any problems! Virgin Media come back! All is forgiven!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't go with Vodafone Broadband, you'll have nothing but problems. I called to set mine up over a month ago & Vodafone haven't sent me a router regardless of me constantly ringing, they have refused to give me a DPD TRACKING NUMBER for my router, I've had to call DPD myself who have said I have no parcels at all coming with them in the next 2 weeks. Can't even use the broadband that I'm paying for as vodafone are lying to me about sending routers. Seriously don't bother using this company

The worst fiber-optic broadband I have had for over 15 years. Including, SKY, EE (the best) and others. Constantly keeps dropping signal or running very slow and vodafone are unwilling to terminate my contract. I have heard many similar complaints since and the same with their mobile phone contracts. Avoid at all costs!

I took a 24 months broadband contract with vodafone at £35 per month after 10 months suddenly it went upto £40 per month. I am not lying connection is not stable. Goes offline time to time. I checked on it's official website and the same broadband plan is offered at £32 per month. Asked customer service about this. They say cpi or whatever price increase. My question is if they can increase price during the contract period why can't we leave? I wanted to cancel my contract but they told me I have to pay £219.

I just want to warn people that don't fall for their low price. Don't be relax just because you have fixed term contract. They can raise price before your contract period expires. And if you want to cancel your contract there comes your hefty exit fee like mine.

I originally had sky broadband 17mb and decided to give Vodafone a try due to their deal on he 38mb broadband with a free £200 gift. I received the router in the post and plugged it in and was told my activation date was the 7/9/17.

Towards the evening on 7/9/18 the service was still not active so I called Vodafone. After waiting an hour I got through and the Vodafone person said just wait until midnight. The next day 8/9/17 I called Vodafone again as the service still wasn't active. I waited again for an hour and got through to someone who said he would need me to reset the router by pressing down the reset button. I did this and then he said it'll work in 30 minutes. Obviously it didn't.

So I again called Vodafone and waited another hour on the phone before being connected. The lady said that I needed to download the Vodafone app on my phone and then id be able to set up the router via the app. She then proceeded to say 'is there anything else I can help you with' at which point I told her that she will need to stay on the phone whilst I download the app as it takes an hour to get through to someone and so far nobody seems to know what they're doing. I then downloaded and opened the app which of course didn't work with my router. The lady on the phone said she will just need to check something and put me on hold. She then came back and said that actually you can't activate the router via the app. So in other words she was about to fob me off again. She then proceeded to set up my router from her end. After she did this she told me my service will be live in 1 hour. So I then waited an hour, and guess what? obviously it didn't work.

So then I called back again and waited again for an hour and finally got through to someone who then actually did activate the broadband.

The broadband was initially fast. I had the 38mb package and was getting speeds of 33mb. Towards the evening the speeds dropped to between 1 and 2 mb. The homepage (which is google) also stopped loading and occasionally all internet services would just stop.

So I called Vodafone who told me to change the channel on the router. I did this and the same problems occurred. That was their only suggestion and they weren't sure what else to do.

My previous broadband was with sky ADSL 17mb and I got 17mb as their router is fantastic. The Vodafone router will just drop off and the worst thing is Vodafone do not allow you to connect your own router.

The only routers they accept to be connected to their broadband are open reach approved routers of which there is a very limited list of very specialist routers costing around £500 each.

Luckily you get a 30 day cooling off period so Ive now cancelled Vodafone. I don't know how I would have coped for 18 months with Vodafone broadband. More than likely I would have had to just pay the early termination charge (which would have been massive) just to get a working broadband service.

Do not touch Vodafone. They are voted the worst company for customer satisfaction for a reason. Ive now moved back to sky who answered my call in just 5 minutes as opposed to Vodafones 1 hour. I'll never make the mistake of moving to Vodafone for any of their services again.

Awful! Keep charging you after you have left - UPDATE (June) - STILL CHARGING ME
Awful! The speed of my broadband was never as good as with my previous supplier so when I moved house and they gave me the option to leave during the contract (they couldn't provide the same service at the new address) I was really pleased. I called mid-March and they confirmed the cancellation date for 10th April.
16th April I get charged another £24! I contact them via chat, they apologise and say that I will have to wait 4-6 weeks for a refund...but my account is definitely closed.
Then I get a text to say they will be charging my ANOTHER £24 on 16th May!!! I contact them again via chat, again they apologise and say that it is definitely closed and they will process the refund.
Now it's June and....I've received yet another message to say that they have billed me £24!!!
Don't go with this company as they will keep charging you after you've left!!! Absolutely awful!!!! Don't know what else to do now!

Having recently moved into our first home my partner and I wanted a broadband set up which wasn’t too costly however fibre is a must for us so we chose Vodafone. To cut a long story short, you certainly get what you pay for, we wish we had chosen another more reliable company like BT or Virgin as we’ve had a terrible experience. We waited THREE weeks for the engineer to come out, our router has still not been delivered despite our connection being set up three days ago and several phone calls to Vodafone asking them where it is. They have blamed DPD for the router not being delivered... After speaking several times to someone on the phone to add to the terrible set up service the CUSTOMER SERVICE was awful too to the point where the lady on the phone to me tried to argue with me. Such a disappointment we will never choose to go with Vodafone again, really regretful choice. We are still without broadband. I do not recommend at all.

Awful. switched from Sky and the broadband Superfast 2 is awful. kept dropping out.Wifi terrible even with extender and speeds are not what they claim at all. Never had any trouble with Sky previously. Asked to be released from contract for breach as they aren't providing what they claim but of course they claim speeds are ok, doesn't drop out, oh and they can't predict any drop in wifi. Avoid at all costs.

avoid this dodgy company! The reality about all Vodafone services: I've signed up for full fiber with Vodafone first 30 days it was perfect 130+ Mbps after that is dreadful most of the days I can't even watch a movie on Netflix, contract says minimum speed 50mb which customer service told me it's on a cable connection for only one device, even with a cable connection best I've seen was 44mb then I wanted to cancel the contract and they told me I can't do that only if I pay the remaining 35 months contract .... Same thing with my phone where everything struggle to work as you will expect
    Very poor overall

Swapped from Plusnet to Vodafone due to slightly cheaper rates and free Amazon voucher. The swap was a pain as I the internet didn't work and was told it was a problem with the activation their end. A second call revealed it was actually a problem my end. The speeds are as good as Plusnet but the signal strength is appalling. I rang within the 14 days to cancel and was on the phone for over half an hour to a telesales person in another country (which is fine) who didn't have a clue what they were talking about (which wasn't fine). I was told I would have to pay circa £170 to cancel even though it was within 14 days of the initial setup. When I said I can prove it's within the 14 days she said call back tomorrow (which would have been out of the 14 days). Eventually, they said I could cancel but (unlike what I was originally told) it would have to be immediate which would leave me with no internet for circa 2 weeks while I'm meant to be working from home. Have reluctantly stayed with them. Will get a broadband booster for the signal but will deffo swap back to Plusnet when the contract ends.

We were woth BT, but their service was not great. Swapped to Vodafone. They are absolute rubbish. Connections weak in house despite having three boosters. Connection keeps cutting out for some devices but not others. Now seeking to cancel them and try another provider (prob BT again as they may well be the best of a shambolic bunch)

I'm coming to the end of my 18 month contract and I am so glad. I have had constant issues with my broadband speed and when it went down completely I found the customer service and response time very poor.
I know it cheap compared to the major providers but if you want a reliable service I would not recommend Vodafone.
I was promised a similar service to my previous provider plusnet but this has proved not to be the case and I will be switching back in a couple of weeks.

After a dreadful time, I switched providers and Vodafone even got that wrong. I am currently without landline or broadband as they stopped the service early when I repeatedly asked them not to.

The last time I dealt with a company so chaotic and dysfunctional was Solarplicity, who went bust soon after. The one plus is that forewarned, I have sold my Vodafone shares.

Another tale of woe! How can Vodafone get it so wrong so often?

I had a nightmare trying to sign up online so in the end I phoned up. After 2 hours of messing around online it was all sorted in 15 minutes on the phone.

The good bits - the router turned up on time, the line when live and worked first time. I have 6 devices connected to the router and it hasn't fallen over yet.

The bad bits - they put me on the wrong package and when I told them, they denied it, said the slow speed was because of DLM....I am not that stupid.

Get to the online chat 3 days later and explain the problem, he says that I am on the 38mb package, so 34mb is quite good, shame I signed up for the 76mb package.

Then they want me to sign up for another 18 month contract to change my package, then they don't want to honour the £28 per month, including the £3 per month discount. It will also be another 2 weeks before they can change.

I reluctantly change and wait the 48 hours to get the email confirmation, I don't get it....I phone and they got the order wrong, it will be another 48 hours and then 14 working days.

Maybe I am the lucky one, at least it will only be 3 to 4 weeks before I get what I pay for....

I gave customer services 3 stars because they are nice people and polite and doing the best they can, they just work for a terrible company.

Changed from BT to Vodafone Superfast 2 broadband, with call bundle on the landline. Running up to switch over was set reminders from Vodafone and router arrived as promised. On the day the switch of broadband was seamless and not had any problems with coverage, reliability or speed. On BT my download was 55Mbps and after three weeks is 49Mbps, so a little slower but doesn't cause any issues for Netflix at 4K, iplayer etc. Phone was switched over as I kept the same number don't have caller ID but not investigated that as yet. The Vodafone Router is working well, I have a TPLINK VR9000 which I used with BT as a replacement to their hub, only issue was I tried to retain my existing SSID and password, SSID wasn't an issue but the router imposed rules on the password which meant I had to change every device in the house, which is when you realise how many items you !! Will keep the Vodafone router in place for the time being and the TPLink as backup just in case. Overall, very please with the service so far and saving me a significant amount of money from BT's exorbitant charges.

Thanks to some monitoring equipment from a independent organisation that provide deep statistical data for ISPs and governments alike (data that is part of the set they use to report on broadband rankings around the world), I have the advantage for being able to properly monitor and compare my internet connectivity and performance at a very detailed level. I've been chatting to Vodafone's technical support and while it's quite clear they do their best, they have no answers to the problem I presented them. I can prove that on a given day in November, Netflix download speeds went from over 30mb to less than 8mb overnight and stayed that way. I have a lovely high 30mb connection since April 2018 when I joined until 7th November when it drops to 8mb and stays there. We have also seen the effect on other video and gaming services. Their fix doesn't make any sense at all (from a technical standpoint. I work in the IT industry so have some idea of what I'm talking about here) and I very much doubt will resolve this issue. I've seen no evidence of any improvement yet that is for sure but I wait to see. However the fix basically means NOT using Vodafone's DNS servers as they don't work correctly and instead changing the router settings to use Google's DNS servers instead. Not really a fix but more of a cop-out and doesn't really address the problem I was having anyway. Also DNS is monitored by the service I mentioned I have so I know that isn't the root cause. I think I will be leaving as soon as the contract is up.

Called after 20 days.so they said we will get back to you.took Ten days by then I could not revoke contract. They lied just get me trapped into a contract now I have no internet but still have to pay.have they broke there end of the contract? DO NOT BUY VODAFONE BROADBAND!! Look at what ppl are saying!!! Or you may get trapped like me. Still not long to go now and I will not be renewing good Riddance Terrible Company

Appalling company to deal with! I changed to Sky as Vodafone increased charges and Sky said they would contact Vodafone for a seamless transition. I thought I would check and Vodafone claimed they didn’t know even though I’d steady been disconnected and Sky Broadband was operational. Anyway they are adamant at charging me for 2 months on cancel. I feel they are absolute robbers and their chat people are intransigent!!! I’ll never ever deal with this shower again and would advise other people to watch their tricks and hiding behind red tape !!’ Don’t use Vodafone !!!

My broadband activation date was tomorrow on the 11th December. Today I called vodafone to ask why I had still not received my new router, I was told that my order had been cancelled as it had 'fallen through the cracks'. Lots of apologies and was told that I would have to re-create the order and join the back of the queue. Pretty awful service really.

Absolutely shocking service! I am appalled at the level we are being dealt with! After having no internet at all for 3 weeks they have now sent the much sought after dongle they had promised us to our old house address where it was refused by owner and sent back to Vodafone! Livid! As a key worker I have better things to be doing with my time then chasing up Vodafone on it’s inadequacies! With two small children at home and my wife pulling her hair out this is very very bad!

Wow I can't believe some of the reviews set up Internet and a fantastic and extremely low cost deal and I'm getting fast speeds then I got with Virgin media and sky this broadband makes the others look like amateurs, I know it's new but all the teething problems seem to have gone now straight online no drop in connections extremely fast and by fast I mean lightning the fact they are the only internet provider in the uk that gives you two ports so if the exchange goes down they can change your ports I have taken this because a few family members have it and it really is awesomeness absolute awesomeness if you want it for even cheaper ring the cancellations department and they offer it free for 12 months so let me repeat free broadband for 12 months wow I know right any way guys get on it!!!
