Guaranteed speed is nonsense. And there is no mechanism to claim the guaranteed 15% discount for not meeting expected speeds. |

Complete disaster. Coverage is spotty and inconsistent. Doing well if we get 100-300 Kbps. For €60 a month you'd expect a bit more. Usually now we just tether off our tesco mobile which is much better. What really irritates me is that it's completely impossible to speak to a rep or anyone at Vodafone about it. For that kind of money you'd at least expect to be able to express your frustration. But they'd rather everyone just left their poor reviews here I guess. |

Disgusted. It takes about a week after the rooter is installed for broadband to activate, and the engineer is a subcontractor so he had no idea this was the case. With BT, the internet is activated as soon as the rooter is installed, so I can't understand why Vodafone requires a week for the activation. Had to cancel it as I need internet connection for my work, and was told it takes a further week for the engineer to switch back my internet connection. Was not told all of this when I signed up. |

Customer service takes nearly an hour to respond. Really slow and frequently disconnecting 3g broadband which reminds you of 33.6kbps connection. Rubbish company and absolutely rubbish service. |

This is by far the worst company that I have ever encountered in my life, bearing in mind I've been in the UK for the last 10 years and have gone through Orange, O2, Three, etc... Their customer service is a joke and a team of unprofessional individuals who are rude and incapable of ever solving problems that they've caused. In the last 4 months, I have called over 15 times, spent over 7.5 hours (given the fact that they place you on hold and phone calls average at 30 minutes per call, and this one time I stayed on for 2 hours before the agent just hung up on me). My contract ended in June, prior to the contract ending, I went into the shop a month before and called to inform them that i had no desire of renewing the contract as I had been paying for a year for a contract that i wasn't using as the first month of me having the phone, the phone got stolen in a house burglary for which I had a police report as evidence. They stated that there was nothing I could do as I didn't have insurance. Also some months my bill would be higher for a contract that was never used but they always had an excuse. So understandably when the contract ended, i was keen to be done with this ordeal. However the real ordeal came from me being charged for the last 4 months for a contract that was supposedly finished and I'd asked to cancel. Agents one time would reassure me that it'd been cancelled and a refund would be given, then I'd be charged the next month and the same cycle would start back. This month was the worst with rude agents and them claiming they'd refunded me, taking my debit card details and nothing to show for it. I would NOT recommend this. |

Left BT joined vodafone what a mistake don't do it. We joined 23rd of March, broadband did not work from day one, 7 phone calls later by 7 different operators; promising engineers coming out or call backs that never happen. now it appears they have shifted the blame to someone called "outreach" who won't be available until 29th of March. DON'T JOIN VODAFONE unless you like a Basil Fawlty experience, stress and no internet.......ARRGGGGGGHHHHH |

Vodafone deserve their place at the bottom , the customer service experience is truly awful with incorrect information given out on a regular basis, long waiting times and promises of return calls never materializing. Rudeness is common place with the front line staff poorly trained and be prepared to ride the merry go round of being passed from one department to another as no one has the ability to deal with straight forward problems. If they hope to be on a level with the likes of First Direct for customer service then their only chance would be a complete overhaul from the top down...even then I find it unlikely that a leopard such as Vodafone will ever change its spots. |

Extremely poor experience. Signed up to service on 15 August with no possibility for an engineering appointment until 4 September. |

Was told that I needed to wait in for an engineer on a secific date. Took half a day off work as I was told they would be with me between 8am & 1pm.... did they come? NO... did they bother to call me.... NO. I phoned them at 12.30 on behalf of my husband... only to be told....we can't tell you anything. We need to speak to your husband. I said I'm his wife and I'm waiting here at the house. Can you give me an indication as to when the engineer will be here.... only to be told NO. Terrible customer service provision. Total abuse of custom. When my husband called them at half past 2. They said the work had been done..... after telling us we needed to let the engineer in.... I didn't have to take a half day off work or hang around waiting as they were never going to need access. Joke... done then vodaphone have been useless!!!! Seriously consider vodaphone... from what I hear there are hidden costs too. Just look at the other reviews... also negative! Hope this helps! |

Do not be tempted by their offer. Catalogue of incompetence and misinformation for over a month, a month filled with lengthy frustrating phone calls, resulted in us returning to our old service provider without ever having received broadband from Vodafone. Unbelievably bad service and a horrible experience. Company culture and training not set up to want to solve problems, is infuriating, frustrating and at times insulting. |

I needed a data roaming option that covered me in Singapore, Australia and the USA for 2 months. After researching the best options and then going into my local Vodafone store for advice, the Mifi mobile hot-spot device and Global Roaming Plus 5 GB of data sim card seemed like the best choice. |

Only been with Vodafone for a week - not able to access or set up my on-line account as the wrong email was the 'Username' also they have two databases (one being C-Board/See-Board) and one wouldn't show my number while the other wouldn't show my account details. After speaking to the call-centre opps (four times) and two on-line 'Live' chats, still a problem and not able to set up or log in. |

I have been with bt and virgin before for many years and never had to call them for any broadband issues ever. With vodafone broadband it seems like dealong with some dodgy company setup only recently. Broadband connection keeps dropping and now the first month bill is like some random amouny which was more than twice the actual contract. I was kept online unnecessarily long without much explanation. One can hear laughter in the background not very professional at all. The agent just reduced the bill and it seems a common occurrence and from them if you call or pay if you don't notice. I signed up because it was cheap and now I can't wait for the contract to come to an end. It is the fastest package and i am in very good location for the fasteat but still it seems very poor connection odd times. Stay away from them |

Beware of this ISP if you wish to connect wirelessly to the router! My broadband was OK for the first few months. Now, with no additional equipment on the system and nothing extra to cause interference, the wifi is totally unreliable. It randomly disconnects from phones, tablets etc then the next day different items won't connect. After a hard reset it lasted 2 days before having problems again. I have tried every channel but nothing helps. Vodafone's official view is that -to quote - 'your contract is for wired broadband. The wifi is not included in this and we have no duty to ensure you can connect wirelessly to your router' They also advised me to switch off the wifi on all phones, tablets etc except when it is being specifically used because the router cannot cope with too many devices at once! Obviously it is only suitable for single people or technophobes! |

Things did not start well but got a lot better. Initially my broadband was due to go live with VF on Thursday, my Sky stopped working on this day but VF BB did not start working, some phone calls later and it was all finally working BB and phone 6 days later. I was not pleased although I do not know if VF are at fault or Openreach. But as I said everything improved. The router, although hated by many seems good to me. Port forwarding was easy to setup and it is also doing port address translation (for example incoming port 2300 to port 554 on internal Lan) my Sky router did not do this. I have over 30 devices on my internal network which can be accessed from the WiFi correctly. I have a music 16Gb library on a USB memory stick plugged into the VF router and this is accessed by my 6 Sonos boxes. My download and upload speed is as it should be, quite high FEC on the stats page but does not seem to be a problem. The WiFi coverage is as good as my Ausu DSL-N55U. The CPU is showing only 10% and memory usage 41% so it would seem the router coping well with the more than average demands I put on it. All this for £20 a month, a bargain in my opinion. Its a shame it was a bad start. I found the VF support line helpful and courteous if not very technical. Openreach were very helpful the engineer gave me his mobile number so I could ring him directly if any more problems occurred with their side of things. Can't think of any other relevant points, I am now a happy VF customer, mind you its only been up and running for 4 days. |

dreadful broadband and customer service atrocious! changed to Vodapnone on 3rd February due to increasing costs by BT. spent next fortnight on the phone to technical department and called into store twice to try and get a broadband and mobile phone to work, broadband speeds were o.7 upload and 0.4 for download! told it was because router had to be plugged into main phone socket, all equipment ie printer, laptops, tablet, NOW TV box had to be hard wired to router. ended up with nothing working through WIFI and mobile phone permanently locked. absolute disaster contract cancelled within fortnight and back to BT. |

DO NOT SWITCH TO THIS ROUTER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE! All reviews saying vodafone is amazing must have been set up by vodaphone. Internet speeds are average (nothing special) Adding 4+ slows it down massively and since installed my internet has dropped out for 10+ minutes DAILY. I use the internet daily for my university work and I don't have time for this. Emphasis on the daily drop outs. This post is being made using my phones 4G - I'll leave you to guess why |

I gave up on Virgin after yet another fault with agent restarting my router for the 5th time and claiming my slow bandwidth was due to having wifi disabled. Also when I cancelled they claimed Netflix would buffer with anything less than 100mb. Terrible! Got my Vodafone router through the post. Plugged it in on the date. Got my advertised download and upload speeds on the date I was told. Can't give all full marks as not had it that long but to date very good. |

Everything about my broadband experience with Vodafone has been terrible. I have never come across a company so incompetent and dis-interested in customer satisfaction. I signed up because they were the cheapest - I found the reasons why. I will never deal with Vodafone again as long as I live. |

Horrendous. Switched from Sky 6 months ago. When it works speed is ok. The router is clearly the result of a primary school competition. It frequently drops out and unless you are sitting on top of it, signal strength is rubbish. Like to go into a different room and still have broadband? Forget about it. Rubbish. Service also dropped off for 2 days. Called customer service. Lady told me expect a call back from an expert. Thank God I didn't plan my life around this call, as it never took place. The service drops in and out for hours at a time randomly. Simple lesson. You get what you pay for and in this instance you get very very very little. Don't be duped. Stay with your provider. Unfortunately I'm stuck for another 12 months. |

After a couple of months, so far so good. Move from BT was seamless. We are in the Perthshire hills relying on a couple of miles of copper wire from the fibre box. Best we ever got from BT was around 1.4Mb. I find it amazing that Vodafone have been able to guarantee over 2Mb and are consistently delivering 3.5Mb. It's not exactly super fast, but it's better than BT........and its over the same line, and for half the price (for phone & broadband). I can only assume BT were slowing us down due to the volume of customers they have? |

Setting up the account didn't work first time, they then sent three routers so the internet wouldn't work until they sync the correct router serial number. Customer service is awful. Have had to reset account every time I try to log in. Now log in doesn't work if you use Safari (Apple) browser |

Don’t touch Vodafone. Broadband is extremely slow, constantly drops out and you have to reboot the hub at least six times a day. Customer service is no existent. Phone them and the wait time is over two hours. Staff are rude over social media. |

RARELY do I leave reviews but I switched from SKY Fibre Broadband to Vodafone on what I thought was a cost saving decision. ABSOLUTE rubbish. I went for the fastest option. After just days I was having to call them because the wifi signal to devices was poor. After a long winded conversation changing a whole host of settings, I still had multiple issues. In the 2 weeks I had it I had no internet of any kind for 3 separate days. |

I signed with Vodafone on the strength that they had a comprehensive international calling add-on particularly as it includes UAE - it doesn't and that was a great disappointment and why I left (I may as well get free European football with an alternative provider) |

I signed up for 30GB/month data only , 1 year contract for mobile broadband with Vodafone . This was to use mainly abroad at our holiday home in continental Europe plus on other holidays. Unfortunately I soon realized that I was getting less than the half of the data amount I was paying for. I understand that all other operators (O2, Three etc) clearly state that you can only use a proportion of you data allowance in EU mainland... Vodafone kept saying that they were allowing me to use whole 30GB abroad which was not true . The data were disappearing from my monthly allowance even if we were not switching the mifi device on... Anyway I kept paying for this substandard service for the whole year and stopped my DD as soon as the contract expired. Called them 2 weeks later and was told tha they will still charge me for the whole month after the contact finished as I was supposed to give them 30 days notice. Their T&C clearly state that you can cancel the contract " without termination fee if the service is poor for unreasonable amount of time " Well, the service was "poor" for the whole year... and the contract has ended up already but they still want more money!. STAY AWAY |

Terrible, frankly criminal usage system that makes it very easy to slip up and go over your limit and then they charge you utterly extortionate amounts. Their online and phone services are a ridiculous bureaucracy. EE has a much saner system. |
