    Open Reach network speeds are excellent. Vodafone CPE (router etc) and apps are unreliable. Customer service is appalling, with endless online menus before eventually being passed to unskilled faults teams which are outsourced overseas.

    Faults teams do not listen to troubleshooting information, and instead blindly follow scripts that often lead to “not Vodafone’s problem”. They tried to tell me that all devices on my network must be faulty, and it could not possibly be a problem with their router, despite all evidence to the contrary (wired and wireless devices falling off network, or reporting that they were connected to router but were not connected to the Internet).

    Avoid Vodafone. I have been with much better ISPs who also use Open Reach.

    Vodafone Broadband speed upgrade. Abysmal service. Speed not provided and unstable. Often worse than prior to upgrade. Online chats terminated by agents. The online chats have taken between half an hour to an hour. You are already frustrated by now and terminating the chat without a resolution, just because it fell in the too difficult box is absolutely infuriating! Faulty Vodafone telephone menu making it impossible to make a requested callback. The telephone answering service does not recognise the digit '2'. As it was option 2 that I needed, to speak to the right people, I could not get through. AND the message I received had threatened to close my ticket (without resolution) unless I called back!!!! Worst service ever received. Vodafone are well deserving of the Title of worst Broadband provider.

    Even though I signed a 2 year contract, they automatically put you on a 30 day rolling contract after the 2 year end date. Customer service do not tell you this when buying the contract, and they don't remind you of this. So here I'm thinking the contract will end naturally, but it doesn't and you need to give 30 days notice. Customer service, was just so condescending. Can't wait to be done with them! Beware

    I went to Vodafone,due to their apparent good reviews. How wrong was I/them. Customer welcome pack supplies an invalid phone contact number! As to customer service, I contacted them 5 times and my analysis of them is, they do not listen to the customer, they ask for details which I couldn't access due to NO internet, even though this was why I was talking to them. No resolution from them , eventually had to ask to be put through to tech. dept. Again no resolution only a promise that he would phone me back within 2 hours. He never did. I have various mobility issues ans a visual impairment yet he still wanted me to carry out various tasks, despite me saying that I was unable to do these.Customer service said they were unable to
    put me through to complaints,yet one lady was able and did so.
    Complaints dept. again seem to have an issue in listening. Still no satisfactory resolution.

    Gave me an activation date, pushed it back 3 days and insisted the activation date they previously allowed me to select was impossible. Took me almost an hour to cancel as I kept getting pushed through different teams

    For last 3 Months we have regularly had speeds of 2Mbps against the 74 Mbps im paying for. Cannot get any sense from the offshore call centre, and gave up after 30 mins on the phone waiting for them. Fortunately I’m out of contract so will be moving elsewhere.

    Absolutely shocking, Wi-Fi rarely works, one day it works one week it doesn’t, had to use my limited data on my phone to connect to the tv, customer service is even worse always “oh we ll pass it on to someone higher up” next day they forget about you and you have to call 24/7 just for them to say the same stuff over and over, once the problem is “sorted” the wifi works for a couple days…then doesn’t work again. Honestly sick of it

    I swapped from BT to Vodafone as BT prices werea lot higher.
    The swap over was seemless and initially I was quite happy.
    Never once had z problem using BT upstairs on a chromecast using 5ghz. With this router the chromecast was for everloosing signal.i downloaded the app and found I could split router between 2.4ghz and 5ghz. So I set up 2.4ghz and it was better. I could also manually change channels using the app this helped then after an update I could no longer do that but could on the Internet. Now they have stopped you changing channels on the Internet. I tried running a firestick upstairs on 5ghz useless. I then tried running chromecast downstairs in same room as router 2.4ghz OK 5ghz useless.
    I feel the broadband itself is fine its their router that is crap.
    I see they have brought out a new router they must know the model they sent me is useless.
    Can't wait for my contract to end then I can move to another isp

    Pretty much the same as everyone below. An hour at a time with the Vodafone chat to be told they’re looking into it and will call back. Never ending drop outs and ridiculous low speeds. The customer service is dire and no use whatsoever. Absolute garbage all around. Would recommend that you avoid like the plague.

    Hi Vodafone broadband is the worst broadband service I have ever had I am 13 months through a 24 month contract we use the broadband Internet and TV are broadband drops out multiple times a day everyday my wife is housebound and needs TV the service I receive from Vodafone is not good enough I just can't wait for my contract to end any comments please feel free to message me

    Awful awful awful broadband provider. Have been in contract for 5 months and the broadband still isn’t working, no refunds. Still paying £37 monthly with no service. Finally today a new router arrived but it still doesn’t work. Trying to talk to someone to make a complaint and they just keep telling us to reset the router. No ownership of actually getting things working. No engineer coming out to help. I cannot believe how bad the service is and I wish I had never signed up with them.

    Counting days till my contract ends and I can drop this like a ton of bricks. There is no aspect of Vodafone broadband that I would recommend.

    Speed - Depends on which day, hour and side of the bed you got up on. Some days you will get the speed promised, but on most it is well below the commitment. In fact, even Alexa cannot connect (can you believe that!)
    Reliability - The lesser said, the better. If you ever have a teams or a zoom call, please make sure you start with a disclaimer - "my broadband sucks and I might get disconnected.". That way, you will at least get empathy - not the business though
    Customer service - Does not exist. They close cases faster than you can tell them your problem. They will update your router software every time you call them, but never send out the Engineer.
    Overall - The only feeling you are left with on this contract is - "Why, oh why did I sign up for this $h!T"

    I signed up for broadband and a landline. After getting few incoming calls for seven weeks it turned out that we could only get calls from Vodafone or O2. After hours being kept on the chat and phone calls with people trying obviously unsuitable "fixes" it stayed broken, despite being repeatedly told that the problem had been sorted.
    The customer service is bad. Very bad. Record breakingly bad and highly obstructive.

    The worst I've ever had to deal with. Imagine, I applied for the engineers to install my broadband on the 1st of May 2024 and for some reason the incorrect information was given to them and they didn't contact me. After realizing their mistake and apologised saying that its their fault they told me they can't come again until May 17th. Absolutely ridiculous. They are the worst and I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. I've had them before at a previous location however the Internet was OK I've never had to interact with them in such manner until I moved recently and applied for my broadband to be moved to my new address. The first manager I spoke with was trying to get me and early date since it wasn't my fault and it seem he had no power over the situation as whoever he spoke with told him they couldn't give me an earlier date. Vodafone needs better management. Its like everyone does their own thing. Now am gonna be without Internet until the 24th of May. I wish I could go on the news with this and how it has affected me. No one
    should have to deal with this.

    Broadband okay,but expensive. On 14 March I tried to take advantage of an offer for two year extension at £24 pm with no increase until April 2025. Previously i had paid £25+.In April 2024 I was charged £27.16 (a 7.9% increase was added). When queried by email I received a response saying phone them. After going through various hoops and security checks a chap said he would transfer me to get the matter sorted. A lady then put me through different security hoops and finally said I failed as I didn't know the contract date! Another call got a chap in India, who said the original 'update' request had been cancelled by Vodafone for a "technical issue", but couldn't say what. He put me through to a lady who arranged the update, but the start date was not backdated and my landline number could not be kept! This second call took over 40 minutes- and I still don't know my new number to advise all involved. Complete fiasco and customer service really does not exist.

    Customer service is significantly lacking with regards to clients wishing to use Vodafone as a service provider. I was not advised correctly by the support via the live chat. I do not blame the online support, as Vodafone is responsible for ensuring that they are trained to inform clients correctly. But why would they do that when they stand to gain profit?

    Absolutely disgusted with vadaphone. I had there home broadband fitted and it was the biggest mistake I've ever made. I've had maybe a month in my 2 year contract where the line hasn't dropped out.
    I've had over 12 visits from openreach and spent over 20 hours on the phone to them. They put me through the same checks every time and every time I waste an hour and resolve nothing. Today I called them yet again and the person I spoke to did the same tests again and broke the router and I have to wait 3 days for an engineer. He won't have a router with him so I'll have to wait for that after he's left. The entire help center / customer service department are extremely difficult to understand and just put you on hold for 10 minutes at a time.
    Save your money / time / frustration and go with any other company. I can't wait till June when my contract ends.

    I was late in my bill month, so fair enough service got cut off. It cut at 1am while I was working on something, tried to pay the bill through the app on my phone, didn't work. After going round in loops on the automated phone service, it hung up on me when it said it would take the payment.
    I got through everything the first go but because I took 3 seconds to get the expiry date on my card, it just cancelled and hung up. Never thought it'd be so much hassle to pay a company.

    Avoid like the plague if you want anything sorting out quickly!!
    Had issues getting connected originally. Had to wait 1 day before they would even talk about it and then 2 days to speak to a human. I now have an issue where my work laptop won't connect so loosing working from home time. I appreciate it mate be a hardware issue but why is everything so difficult to sort.
    Also, a small thing, the route itself is HUGE!!!
    Dreadful, am pulling out in my 14 days grace

    I’ll do the positive bit first, compared to Virgin, who I was previously with, their broadband is reliable and fast. For 12 months it was perfect. It has dropped once and been a bit erratic occasionally, but nothing so serious where I needed to contact them. Just as well because now for the negative.

    Their customer service is the worst I’ve ever encountered. They are also devious and dishonest. They left me without broadband for a month when I switched to them because they had a great deal (I’m a mobile customer) and I actually had to go to a shop and demand help because that useless chatbot TOBI is a waste of time and their call centre staff are incompetent. One idiot told
    me the man was outside my house working on my full fibre installation (!) this was after they failed to show on the appointed date. Then they said that because my broadband hadn’t been installed during the deal offer I would be paying over twice as much as I thought I would. That wasn’t my fault and I signed up when the deal was still on. I resolved that after a lot of hassle, but then two months later they tried to double the amount again blaming someone for giving me the wrong information. I went as high as I could to resolve that one, succeeded but that was it for me. I vowed that when my contract ends, which is does next month, I will leave. Calling another provider tomorrow. I dread contacting them to give notice, but I’ll do it.

    My advice, don’t even think about it. There are better ISPs out there. Vodafone do not deserve the custom.

    Terrible customer service and very hard to get money back from when you leave. Customner service is in India, the online help bot is useless, and they're terrible at sorting things out if things go wrong. It took them over a week to sort things out when my broadband went down. They also didn't give me a credit for the week I was without broadband, that they're legally obliged to do. I had to make an official complaint to get the credit added. They also took money out of my account on the day I left them which they have yet to refund any of six weeks later. They generated a credit note after I complained online, but it was for less than half of what they owed me, so I had to lodge another complaint. A terrible company, I will never use them again.

    Dropped out regularly. Asian call centre is a joke. Unable to access my router, help promised was totally ineffective, then they gave up and I have transferred back to Virgin. I was glad to be rid of Vodafone and happy to pay to leave my contract.

    Do not get vodafone broadband. The signal is weak and cuts out as soon as there's a hustle of wind. We've been without Internet for several days and it has taken 3 hours and 4 phone calls to get them to finally agree to send an engineer and even then they booked the wrong day. I'm not asking for the world, just for them to do their job!

    I just left a 2-year contract for Vodafone 35 Mbps speed on full-fibre (FTTP, Openreach fibre network) broadband. Coming to the end of the 24 months period, Vodafone removed the “discount” from the monthly fee making my 35 Mbps broadband as expensive as current Vodafone 100 Mbps. A message started appearing In my online account inviting me to check the special offers Vodafone had for me, currently a client. The problem was that the link did not work: an error message stated that it was not actually possible to show me those offers right now and I had instead to call a Vodafone agent.
    I instead filed a complaint for the website not working and I received a call back from the agent handling my complaint. They could not understand why I wasn’t shown the options within my account and could not fix it. They put me in contact with another agent for the renewal.
    Before talking to the agent I checked what FTTP speeds were available from Vodafone: Full Fibre 100, Pro II Full Fibre 500, Pro II Full Fibre 900. Way above my requirements but open to consider 100 Mbps for the right price. The agent supposed to keep me as Vodafone customer didn’t know what the Vodafone Full Fibre options were. While on the line they went and asked but received the wrong information and were then convinced that “Full Fibre 100” was not compatible with my setup. They therefore proposed “Pro II Full Fibre 500”, an extremely expensive overkill for my needs.
    I was left with no other option then to switch to another ISP, to a 100 Mbps contact by the way.
    I wasn’t unhappy with Vodafone but the incompetence of their sale service made it impossible for me to stay with them. I’m annoyed by the fact that I have now to recycle a perfectly working THG3000, the Wi-Fi router Vodafone supplies, which is a superior device than the router provided by my current ISP.

    We were woth BT, but their service was not great. Swapped to Vodafone. They are absolute rubbish. Connections weak in house despite having three boosters. Connection keeps cutting out for some devices but not others. Now seeking to cancel them and try another provider (prob BT again as they may well be the best of a shambolic bunch)

    If you have a Vodafone mobile your experience will be great, if you have broadband then don't expect to even be treated with respect. I have been a broadband customer for over 10yrs never had anything to complain about, but they do say you only know how good a company is when you have a problem...

    Their call centre is in India the broadband customer service personnel are rude, disrespectful & very unhelpful. I have been experiencing problems with the broadband app & my router for the last week.

    Called India several times to try & fix the issue all they did was reset the router three times, then they tell me to manually reset lol, did that guess what that did not work either, they promised call back after call back, never received a single call back.

    The staff at the call centre just don't care no empathy for any problems your experiencing, they are abrupt, rude & they even put the phone down on me twice. Am totally done with Vodafone broadband have been charged £30 a month for 64-70Mbs, have now moved to Sky & I am getting 104Mbs for £24 per month... You work out the mathematics...

    I even recommended several friends to Vodafone broadband over the years, I have told them all what I have experienced just incase they have problems. Today was the first time I got to speak with someone who I could understand without asking them to repeat what they said half a dozen times!

    I actually spoke to someone in England today hurrah!!! But only to tell them I was leaving Vodafone because of the treatment I have experienced by their staff in India who don't care about anything or anyone!

    Such a shame Vodafone broadband was reliable in 10yrs I only had three dropouts of my broadband, but when you do have a problem it's enough to make you want to leave. Days spent wasting your time talking to people on the other side of the planet that are just rude, make false promises then put the phone down on you.

    I got sent text messages asking how I would rate the service I received from their India call centre, tried to reply several times guess what the messages would not even send lol, so no matter what you rate their staff at no one will find out as you can't send any feedback, sounds like a good scam to me!

    Sorry Vodafone but you will keep losing longstanding customers like myself if you keep paying staff that don't care & have no interest in helping you beyond resetting your router. Thanks for the years of service the staff in England are impeccable, it's the other side of the world that lets you down.

    Now with Sky (again) I left Sky to move to Vodafone 10yrs ago, but Sky are offering much faster broadband at a much cheaper price, at this point where every penny counts it's a no brainer for me!

    I cancelled my broadband with the necessary 30 days notice and was given a disconnection date and told early termination would cost around £10. However, I got a confirmation email with a disconnection date a month later. I let it go. Then they made a “mistake” and actually disconnected two months later! But they kept charging me and I overpaid them until I got fed up and stopped the direct debit. I called them up and a rude and aggressive woman told me I’d need to pay early termination fees of £200 !!! I told her that was impossible as I only had a few months left on the contract - and she suddenly backed down. Unbelievable crookedness. They then got a debt collection company onto me (despite my firm belief it was they who actually owed me money) - for £18. I challenged them (took hours) and they admitted their mistake, deducted £12 from the final bill but still asked me to pay £6 “late payment charge”! When I asked them to waive this as a goodwill gesture because I did not have the time or energy to carry on the dispute for £6, they refused. So, enjoy my review Vodafone: I believe you to be a dishonest and rather nasty organisation.

    Useless customer service as has been form any years now. had 40 pounds fraudulently taken from my paypal on monthly topups to a number that didnt belong to me over 4 months on their voxi service. i was also using their voxi service and had my topup coming out of the paypal automtically, but i noticed a second one coming out also. the number i was told was registered in my name so must be a inside/employee doing. vodafone fraud accepted it was fraud but couldnt refund me. told me to talk to voxi (online chat only). they were useless and told me they couldnot do anything unless i pass security on the account that didnt belong to me...?! they referred me to vodafone pay as you go who referred my back to fraud, and the crap circle carries on, again something they have been doing for years (i worked for vodafone for 5-6 years in retail and will tell you first hand its a useless customer service system. (I spent most of my days working thier, arguing with their customer service channels and head office to get right done by the customers as our sales systems instore didnt have access and authority to do everything) and even for a internal employee it was a nightmare to get things sorted out. they implemented a new system a few years back that left customer details and accounts in dissaray. wrong bills, wrong contract dates, lost numbers etc etc, an unbeleivable mess in a mass scale. i tried their social media chat as outlined in their responses to other negative review here... even more useless, you get a reply every 3-5mins and the person you talk to changes every other message. complete waste of time for a company that does not value its customers. there customer base has gone down drastically over the years and now they are looking to join with the 3 network to stay viable business wise (3 being one of the bottom networks of the big 4, and vodafone isnt far off in its current state). id say go bankrupt and go away, vodafone is a shamble. ok while it works, if you have a problem, forget it, in most cases it never gets sorted and you just waste time going around in circles. and vodafone... dont even bother leaving me a reply here to contact you on your socials.. and if you do it will just accertain that you dont care enough to even properly read this negative review. needless to say ive moved away from that last service i has with you (a poxy pay as you go) and i will never use any vodafone or vodafone related service ever again in my life time. good riddance, and good bye. this company has truly become the definition of an utter fail.

    Signed up to full fibre 200, paying £30 a month. Logged an official complaint the day after my service was turned on. Worst internet I’ve had since I moved into my house 6 years ago. They claim they cannot guarantee a WiFi connection through any house, I live in a small 2 bedroom mid terrace not a mansion. Signal keeps dropping out on all my TVs and cannot connect at all on my phone unless I stand next to the router and according to Vodafone I just have to deal with it for the next 2 years, they did some work on my line and worked for a couple of weeks and now I’m outside the 2 weeks cancellation it’s stopped working again. Absolute nightmare, I’d give it 0 stars if I could, not fit for purpose.

    The customer service is appalling. The time waiting to speak to a Bot is too long, then when they finally transfer you to a human being I am not sure even they understand much more than the bot. I had to go through security twice to cancel my bill even when I was assured after the first time that I wouldn't need to do it again. I have wasted an hour trying to cancel my service. Awful customer service, I will never use or recommend Vodafone to anyone

    If I could give this zero stars I would! Worst service and worst customer support EVER!
    Internet not worked properly since it was installed 6 months ago. Support has booked two engineer appointments over a weekend , both no shows, only for me to be told the engineers don’t work weekends!
    Trying to cancel due to poor service and product and being told they won’t cancel without me paying out my contract. Even trying to charge me for an engineer to fix the issue caused by their engineer not fitting the router correctly

    AVOID at all costs!!
