    Well I'm amazed that Plusnet have the cheek to say they have award winning customer service. Not only did I lose service for the second time and never received a satisfactory answer as to why, for the second time I never received any compensation which allegedly is automatically granted for loss of service. Lost faith in this shambolic company and starting to review a replacement provider.

    Very poor customer service. Charged me even after the contract ended and they had said I was going to get a refund because the price was going up
    I would not recommend. Even set a debt collection agency on to me for 14£. Be very careful if you want to use them, they are part of BT after all. Not good

    Sent me a home hub 5 type a which kept on dropping connection so changed this to a type b and everything has been ok.

    I will never renew a contract with them.

    Their complaints procedures are non exsistant - the call centre staff keep you running in circles and other than hollow apologies you will find no resolution to complaints.

    They switched my current home off a week earlier than the move date and cannot get the new house up and running for a month at least.

    They will still take payments for the services though at an inflated rate as I moved house mid contract!! Even though they have a catalogue of errors in my service they want 200 to allow me to cancel my contract!

    Buyer beware!

    Good speed all week when most people at work Rubbish at weekend I pay for Fibre Optic and I am lucky to get 1 or 2 Mbps all weekend Can't wait for contract to end and I will certainly be leaving minus net

    What a bunch or lying cowboys!! Lousy customer service, gross incompetence and they LIED more than once. Do not use them, do not trust them. They cost us a lot of money and grief! AVOID!!

    I have been a customer with Plusnet for 6 years as they used to have good customer service. However, my contract ended last month and they did not offer me a reasonable package to move to, and put me in a very expensive monthly rolling package that required a £30 cessation fee. In asking for a more reasonable package I was 'threatened' with the £30 cessation package and a further £50 to return to Plusnet in the future. The easy part will be not returning in the future.... I am definitely leaving after that experience. Customer service has gone downhill drastically.

    Boy am I glad to get away from Vodafone,signed up with plusnet brill speeds,they had my broadband up and running asoon as my contract ended with Vodafone on the same day,I'm happy with everything and customer service were great,thankyou plusnet for a broadband that works perfectly.....

    Customer service was one of the reason I chose plusnet. However I will be leaving them at my earliest opportunity. Every month there is a problem with the billing on my account. Every month I am forced to contact them to correct it and get a refund. Every month they tell me the problem has been fixed but it never is.

    I didn't sign up with them to have continuous problems.

    Overall I am very disappointed and would NOT RECOMMEND them.

    Trying to switch to plus net, they failed withing more than 3 weeks. Poor customer service, every person saying different thing, had to cancel after 15 days of waiting as they want me to wait another 10 working days.

    I have selected broadband reliability and speed as 1 star in reference to the WIFI, the connection keeps dropping out, even after several channel changes, router swap, no success! It’s unacceptable in this day and age, and what’s worse is they have loop holes and answers to your complaints that just infuriate me. They also claim they have there ratings for the wired connected, many people don’t use wired broadband via Ethernet anymore. My partner and myself work from home, it is causing major stresses with our work. Also watch out for the 14 day cancellation period, it starts when you order the package, not on the go live date.

    Internet is rubbish customer care is rubbish to ring your charged and on hold for over an hour to chat on line with them over 1 hour you jump from 2 in queue to 1 and back to 2 and back to 1 and so on and so on only thing reliable is them taking their payment exactly on time would never recommend these people anything else but them would be an improvement dusgusted and can't wait to leave them

    This is the worst company that I have ever had the misfortune to be involved with...the customer service stinks..even now after I,ve left I still have trouble. would not recommend this company to anyone an Im surprised plusnet stay in business.

    Affter being missold a package by another provider I thought I would give plusnet a try. The salesman was very polite, and I was given a go live date of 10 august 2015. Having not heard from plusnet by 11 august I telephoned plusnet, the person I spoke to informed me that I could use my previous providers router with plusnet, he then checked and informed me that the plusnet router had not been sent to me (this one day after my go live date). I then thought "if this is the level of service I receive before I get on line what would it be like if I proceed with plusnet? I cancelled my order with immediate effect. In spite of the flash advertisement concerning customer service I expierenced zero customer sevice and was relieved to be shot of them.

    It's a shame that I can't give 0 stars. The internet connection is dreadful. I have spoken to many people that have the same modem as us and they have the same issues. Plusnet should be paying me for using their dreadful services.

    I transferred over to plusnet from TalkTalk thankfully it was after Ofcom put in new rules which allowed me to transfer mid contract. I'm so glad I did, speed and reliability is fantastic, UK based calls,my only gripe is that the router they supply you is not the greatest, but I use a BT Hub 5 that works flawlessly. The prices are going up for plusnet in September but i will not be transferring as this ISP has to be the best ive been with, you wouldn't think it was owned by BT. Well done Plusnet!!!

    Joined up online 4.8.21, payment of £23.95 taken on sign up. Email from Plusnet 5.8.21 could not find a working line at my property, despite me already having broadband, but they had found a spare line that they could install for £49.99! I both emailed and telephoned Plusnet who at no time offered any explanation for the no line story. The order was cancelled but it has taken a further two phone calls to be informed that my refund of £23.95 was made on 12.8.21 although I am yet to receive it. A totally dishonest company who I would avoid at all costs!

    Over the years I've been with quiet a few ISPs. The main reason for change has usually been down to the pursuit of a better deal. Unfortunatly this was the reason behind my switch from sky to Plusnet. I realised I had made a mistake from the arrival of the router, as it's like something out of the Ark, the Internet speed is snail pace at best with continual drop out and lagging (this is something we have never experienced with any other provider, as we usually have a very strong connection) the customer service is very poor, and that's if you can actually get to speak to someone as the wait time when calling at anytime of day is usually in excess of 30 mins. They also don't respond to email questions, I currently have a question that has been outstanding for over a week and counting. In summary if you read the marketing bullet points you will find that the service provided is the exact opposite. The end of my current contract can't come fast enough and if you are considering switching to Plusnet, no matter what deal they offer. Don't !!!!!

    I decided to move from Plusnet to a different provider however when it became evident they couldn't match the line speed their sales team said they could I went back to Plusnet. Since going back I've had nothing but trouble. I had to join as a new customer because apparently my old account had been terminated. However since then I have continued to be billed for my old and new accounts. Each time I ring them it's at least 30 minutes on the phone on hold ' don't believe what the automated message says about wait time. Its always longer' I've been told numerous times they've sorted and even have emails confirming cancellation but the bills still keep getting generated.

    I've been with Plusnet for 2 weeks, moving from TalkTalk was a huge mistake. The Plusnet service is horrendous, constant buffering and very slow wifi speeds, they've told me that they don't guarantee the wifi speed so I'm now stuck with unusable wifi. The tech department keep fobbing me off, I'm stuck with them for 2 years, this is a nightmare as I need wifi for my work.

    Worst customer service ever, you wait over 30 mins to speak to someone and then they just tell you to ring another dept , engineer didn't turn up twice to install socket and then they charged me for a phone line i couldn't use! JUST AVOID, AVOID AVOID!

    The worst customer service department on the planet. You always have to wait in excess of 15 minutes to be then passed to another department (another minimum of 15 minute wait, you then get passed to another dept and you wait again then get cut off just like a carry on film! You get no answers, shameful pathetic service, use this company and get bored waiting. Use a respected provider not this tin-pot outfit!

    Don't have a line issue unless you have a good mobile signal. If the land phone doesn't work how else do you contact, phone - the phone doesn't work, Chat - isn't operating, Email - doesn't exist.
    This is living in the world of Kafka and Catch 22!

    Absolutely awful company. I have just managed to leave but they still intend to bill me ongoing (good luck with that one!). Wait 30 minutes for them to answer the phone, transfer you to another department and then cut you off. Staff are sometimes nice but more often than not rude. There is nothing about this company that I could recommend. NOTHING.

    I realise that Plusnet can do nothing about the measly 0.95Mb/s broadband speed we originally got (and what they told us we would get.) However, it started going down and now sits, on a good day, at 0.7 Mb/s; however, it frequently falls below that. Anything less than 0.7 Mb/s and it becomes pretty much unusable. And it regularly falls to as low as 0.1-0.2 Mb/s - actually, it often seems to cut out completely. The problem is I took out a two year contract based on the anticipated speed and the fact that Plusnet told us we'd get superfast in our area this spring (gone). Neither of those assertions have stood the test of time. Plusnet, having sent out a BT engineer or three, have effectively shrugged their shoulders. I had a letter recently (well outside the 10 working days they say they'll reply in) in which some dozey 'customer relations team' operative assured me my broadband speed was 1.0 Mb/s and stable (based on one 'snapshot' reading.) This was despite the 150 readings I had sent them, taken from Ookla over the last 8 months (about 60 readings in August), which quite clearly show that we have never had 1.0 Mb/s and are currently averaging about 0.55 Mb/s with variations between zero and (once) 0.76 Mb/s. I have asked for a letter of deadlock and will take my case to CISAS.
    The bottom line is, they are of course fine when it's all going smoothly, but when it goes wrong they are shockingly bad. Their customer service 'systems' seem to be in disarray with online answers to their own questions ignored, and deadlines not met. You have to battle, curse and scream to get them to action anything you send to them.
    If I knew what I know now, I would never have gone near PLusnet.

    Plusnet - Will do you proud! OR NOT!!! Do not go with this company they should not be allowed to sell broadband!!! I transferred from BT worst experience of my life. I have had no broadband since switching, they can't tell me what is wrong or when it will be fixed and it has been nearly a week! They switched my phone number after I specifically told them I wanted to keep my telephone number and you can't get to speak to someone without waiting and waiting and waiting. To top it off I commented on their Facebook page and they deleted my comments and reported me to Facebook for spamming! I want to cancel my contract but they say I can't - what a complete joke!

    I am moving home and told them not to send an engineer to the new home UNTIL I OWNED IT. I got an email from them telling me that they would sent an engineer to the new home on JAN 6 2019. I font even own it and will not be in it until the 11th. You would think this was simple to change: not on your life. call waiting time 20 minutes. Call waiting time for new contracts: instant. This tells me so much about the way they treat customers that have been with them since 2006. Now I am trying to get hold of them to pay the exit fee. I will move to Virgin who will not charge me line installation. PlusNet. You have really disappointed me.

    I rang Plusnet regarding my recent bill. I held on the line for twenty minutes before getting a reply only to be told that I had rung the internet service and was cut off. Not good service.

    Cannot give this company any stars whatsoever apart from money grabbing.
    They took an immediate payment of £31.99 for a "connection" fee.
    However after a better offer from my current provider I declined the changeover and asked for a refund.
    Over a month later I am still waiting, been told it was being processed more times than I can remember, first it was up to 5 working days, then up to ten, now they are saying that it will be neither instead it will be sent by cheque, guess what after a month still no refund, what an incompetent couldn't care outfit.
    The add says`we will do you proud.

    I just want to say having spoken to one of your customer service team name that I am very impressed how he dealt with my problem. Not being a technical person at he was very patient with me (being an older lady who has no idea about computers and broadband). He was such a gentleman and explained things to me very clearly. If all your employees are as good as him you must have a fantastic team.

    Plusnet is a fraud and no one should go there based on my poor services i got from there.
    They even fail to honor their own contract with me claiming they made the contract in and error and continued to charge me lots more and refused to listen to my complaints.

    rubbish, customer service even more verse you have to min 15 to 20 min for first answer and then on and on, i made contract so i am stuck but please read review before making your mind.
